Penrose Triangle

The Penrose triangle, also known as the Penrose tribar, the impossible tribar, or the impossible triangle, is a triangular impossible object

   *   The Penrose triangle, or impossible tribar, is an optical illusion showing a three-dimensional object that appears solid but defies Euclidean geometry

   *   It can’t exist in reality, formed by three beams seemingly meeting at right angles, creating a paradox where each corner connects logically but the whole is impossible

   *   First sketched by artist Oscar Reutersvärd in 1934, it was popularized by mathematician Roger Penrose and his father, who described it as “impossibility in its purest form,” and famously featured in art by M. C. Escher.
